Job Description:

In line with Allianz Technology’s aim to be a truly customer and product centric organization, the functional area Applications ensures end-2-end responsibility for all applications in its scope. These applications are clustered in Verticals owning the build, roll-out and maintenance/run. Allianz’ digital future is coming through a combination of technology trends such as cloud, micro-services, big data, and mobile requires individuals who are close to technology and love working in a tight-knit team. DevOps Engineers are role-models for changing the culture of Allianz and provide self-services tools and easy configuration to other IT specialists. They see their work as building a development and cloud platform used by other engineers, not providing a manual and repetitive service. The ideal candidate will prefer the excitement of shaping the technology evolution over following the beaten path and regards highly qualified colleagues not as competition, but as a learning opportunity. The candidate will have or learn good knowledge about concepts as well as hands-on experience with developing CI/CD pipelines and manage fully automated zero-downtime deployment of containerized applications.

Job Responsibility:

  • Assist in the design and implementation of CI/CD pipelines, ensuring security checks are embedded at each stage
  • Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to integrate automated security testing tools within the CI/CD pipeline
  • Continuously assess and optimize CI/CD processes and security practices based on feedback and evolving best practices
  • Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance understanding of DevSecOps principles, tools, and practices
  • Ensure all DevOps practices comply with organizational policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Assist in conducting audits to review SDLC processes and deployed systems for compliance with production efficiency and security protocols
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in DevOps or related roles
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams, including developers, operations, and security professionals
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar
  • Experience with security scanning tools (e.g., SAST, DAST)
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and build tools (e.g., Maven, Gradle)
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible)
  • Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams to foster a DevSecOps culture
  • Experience in project management and supporting Agile development processes (SCRUM, Kanban, etc.)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
