We're looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team in Brussels on a permanent contract (CDI). You'll play a key role in modernizing deployment processes by leading a major CI/CD transformation and helping development teams adopt new standards.
Job Responsibility
Lead the migration of deployment pipelines from Jenkins to Bitbucket Pipelines
Analyze existing Jenkins jobs, deployment workflows, and CI/CD processes to define migration strategies
Design and implement standardized Bitbucket Pipelines templates covering build, testing, security, deployment, and notification processes
Support development teams in adapting repositories and adopting new CI/CD standards
Integrate automated testing, code quality checks, security scanning, and environment promotion mechanisms into deployment pipelines
Document CI/CD standards, best practices, and technical procedures to ensure consistency across teams
Provide coaching, training, and knowledge transfer sessions to development teams throughout the migration journey
Monitor pipeline performance, troubleshoot issues, and continuously improve reliability, efficiency, and developer experience
Coordinate a smooth handover of the new CI/CD environment to support teams after project completion
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
At least 5 years of professional experience in DevOps, CI/CD engineering, or a similar role
Strong hands-on experience with Jenkins and Git-based CI/CD platforms
Good knowledge of Bitbucket Pipelines and YAML-based pipeline configuration
Experience implementing automated testing, code quality tools, and security scanning within CI/CD workflows
Solid understanding of deployment processes and modern DevOps practices
Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken
Willingness to work on-site in Brussels at least 2 days per week
