As experts of Avaloq's Mobile Banking solutions, we are responsible for developing, improving and maintaining the corresponding modules for our clients in the European market. Following agile development processes, we take care of all aspects related to our Mobile Banking offering by leveraging on our Avaloq Core Platform and tailoring the product to the market demands. You will be part of an international and dynamic team of Software Developers and Business Analysts spread across several locations all over Europe. As a DevOps Engineer at Avaloq, you can be part of many exciting and challenging projects relating to cutting-edge worldwide banking initiatives.

Job Responsibility:

  • Managing and maintaining development environments with all necessary components
  • Improving and adjusting existing pipelines to align with new requirements from the Web Banking Minor Upgrade
  • Ensuring a smooth and efficient delivery of configured and created products
  • Analyze and address integration challenges in collaboration with other teams and service providers
  • Supporting customers with the deployment of releases, ensuring seamless integration into their environments
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance automation, reliability, and performance of the release process

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science or a related field
  • Highly proficient with Jenkins pipelines, Gradle, Artifactory, Python, Groovy, Linux and Bash
  • Proficient with tools and frameworks such as Ansible, ElasticSearch, Kubernetes, Openshift, Kotlin
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to analyze issues and execute solutions accordingly
  • Fluent written and spoken English

Nice to have:

  • Certifications in the field of microservices and related scripting languages
  • Experience in Supporting Mobile Applications
  • Knowledge of Unix (RH) and related scripting languages
  • Knowledge of Ergon Product Suite
  • Proficiency in German
