Job Responsibility:
Develop and maintain scalable data systems and integrations to support continuing increase in data volume and complexity
Cloud infrastructure - complete ownership of the AWS/GCP infrastructure, ensuring system uptime, scalability, appropriate monitoring, cost optimization
Collaborate with product and business teams to improve data models that feed business intelligence tools, increasing data accessibility and fostering data-driven decision making across the organization
Implement processes and systems to monitor data completeness/hygiene/quality, ensuring production data is always accurate and available for key stakeholders and business processes that depend on it
Work closely with all business units, product and engineering teams to develop strategy for long term data platform architecture
Adhere to data governance standards and best practices to maintain data security and compliance
Handling performance optimizations in the cloud environment
Requirements:
Strong proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS and Google Cloud Platform
Strong programming skills in at least one scripting language like bash, python, js, etc.
Experience in DevOps and CI/CD implementation and at-scale management
Familiarity with databases (SQL, NoSQL)
High attention to detail, a strong desire to learn, and the resilience to work in a fast-paced, customer-centered environment
Nice to have:
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent
3+ Years of hands-on experience in designing and executing data solutions on AWS as a Cloud Engineer
