Join our growing team at There’s An AI For That, an innovative platform dedicated to organizing and curating the ever-expanding universe of artificial intelligence tools. We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer with strong experience working with bare metal infrastructure, who enjoys operating close to the hardware layer and owning systems end-to-end. This is a full-time, on-site role based in our modern offices on Calea Victoriei. The position is ideal for a senior professional who values technical ownership, real infrastructure challenges, and building reliable systems outside of fully managed cloud environments.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage, maintain, and optimize Linux servers running on bare metal infrastructure (rented from professional datacenters)
  • Design, operate, and scale bare metal systems for compute, storage, and networking
  • Automate infrastructure and operational tasks using Ansible and scripting (Bash / Python)
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support development and production workflows
  • Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability
  • Implement backup, recovery, and high-availability strategies
  • Collaborate closely with engineering teams to support production systems and internal tools
  • Ensure infrastructure security, stability, and documentation best practices

Requirements:

  • Senior-level experience with Linux systems administration
  • Hands-on experience managing bare metal servers (dedicated servers hosted in datacenters)
  • Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, load balancing)
  • Experience with infrastructure automation (Ansible)
  • MySQL experience (backups, scaling, performance tuning)
  • Redis experience (data structures, backup strategies, clustering)

Nice to have:

  • CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins)
  • Monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Zabbix)
  • Python scripting
  • Experience working with high-availability or mission-critical systems
  • Experience with ClickHouse
