Job Description

We are looking for an experienced engineer to design and build control plane capabilities for cloud-native platforms, with a strong focus on Crossplane. This role involves developing infrastructure abstractions, enabling self-service capabilities, and managing the lifecycle of cloud resources through Kubernetes-native approaches.

Job Responsibility

  • Design and implement control plane components for managing cloud infrastructure and services
  • Build and maintain infrastructure abstractions using Crossplane
  • Enable self-service infrastructure provisioning for development teams
  • Define and manage composite resources and reusable infrastructure templates
  • Integrate Crossplane with AWS services and Kubernetes environments
  • Ensure consistency, scalability, and governance of infrastructure provisioning
  • Collaborate with platform teams to build and enhance internal developer platforms (IDP)
  • Support lifecycle management of infrastructure resources (provisioning, updates, decommissioning)

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience working as a DevOps / Platform Engineer
  • Strong experience with AWS (EKS, EC2, VPC, RDS, Route53, API Gateway, Lambda)
  • Hands-on experience with Terraform (AWS, Kubernetes/Helm, Hashicorp Vault)
  • Strong knowledge of Kubernetes
  • Strong programming skills in Python (scripting, FastAPI, Swagger) and Bash / PowerShell
  • Hands-on experience with Crossplane OR strong experience with Terraform + Kubernetes-native infrastructure
  • Understanding of control plane architecture and platform engineering concepts
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code and reusable infrastructure patterns
  • Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab)
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, ELK, etc.)
  • Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet)

Nice to have

  • Experience building internal developer platforms (IDP)
  • Familiarity with GitOps practices (ArgoCD, Flux)
  • Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid-cloud environments
  • Understanding of policy enforcement in platform engineering setups
