Job Description

We are seeking an experienced DevOps/Automation Engineer to join our Platform Engineering team and drive cloud infrastructure provisioning, automation, and operational excellence. This role will focus on building scalable, reliable, and secure cloud-native platforms while enabling development teams through Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD automation, GitOps practices, and modern observability solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong multi-cloud expertise, a DevOps mindset, and hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, and cloud-native technologies.

Job Responsibility

  • Design, build, and manage cloud infrastructure across Azure and GCP environments
  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform/OpenTofu
  • Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and GitOps methodologies
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning, deployments, monitoring, and operational workflows
  • Manage and optimize Kubernetes clusters and containerized application environments
  • Implement service mesh architectures using Istio and related technologies
  • Develop automation tools and operational utilities using Python and Golang
  • Establish observability frameworks utilizing OpenTelemetry (OTEL), Prometheus, and related monitoring tools
  • Support PostgreSQL databases and Apache Kafka platforms within cloud-native environments
  • Drive platform scalability, reliability, performance optimization, and operational excellence
  • Collaborate closely with Development and QA teams to streamline software delivery processes
  • Lead cloud infrastructure operations and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Apply FinOps best practices to optimize cloud resource utilization and costs
  • Promote Golden Path engineering principles and standardized platform patterns
  • Ensure high availability, security, and compliance across production and development environments

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, or Cloud Infrastructure roles
  • Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes (K8s) and containerized environments
  • Expertise in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or OpenTofu
  • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
  • Strong experience with GitOps practices, Git, and GitHub
  • Proficiency in Python and/or Golang development
  • Experience with Azure and/or GCP cloud platforms
  • Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure provisioning and automation
  • Experience implementing service mesh technologies such as Istio
  • Knowledge of observability and monitoring tools including OpenTelemetry and Prometheus
  • Experience supporting PostgreSQL and Apache Kafka environments
  • Strong troubleshooting, automation, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
