Develop, implement, and maintain robust demand planning processes to accurately forecast device sales and adjust inventory levels, minimizing overstocking and stockouts using historical sales data, market trends, promotional plans, and business intelligence
Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and consumer insights to develop accurate and actionable merchandise plans
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand, set inventory levels, and develop assortment plans that align with sales targets and company strategies
Conduct regular analysis of product performance, including sales, sell-through, and profitability, to identify opportunities and risks
Monitor inventory levels and propose merchandise replenishment strategies to ensure optimal stock availability while minimizing excess inventory
Collaborate with vendor management team to ensure timely delivery of merchandise and resolve any supply chain issues
Provide regular visibility to key stakeholders on any risks in product availability or opportunities of growth with cross-functional teams
Provide insights and recommendations on pricing strategies, promotional activities, and markdown optimization to maximize sales and profitability
Assist in the development and execution of merchandise financial plans, including sales, margin, and inventory targets
Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge
Support devices team in ad hoc analysis and special projects as needed
Requirements:
Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in demand planning, supply chain management, or analytics, preferably in the telecommunications or consumer electronics industry
Bachelor’s degree in data Analytics, Engineering, business administration or a related field
A Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CSCP, CPIM) is a plus
Proven experience in demand forecasting, inventory management, and data analysis
Experience with new product launches and managing demand for high-tech devices is highly desirable
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions
Proficiency in demand planning software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Passionate about devices and technology
Knowledge of the telecommunications industry and device lifecycle management is a plus
