Job Responsibility:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain robust demand planning processes to accurately forecast device sales and adjust inventory levels, minimizing overstocking and stockouts using historical sales data, market trends, promotional plans, and business intelligence
  • Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and consumer insights to develop accurate and actionable merchandise plans
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand, set inventory levels, and develop assortment plans that align with sales targets and company strategies
  • Conduct regular analysis of product performance, including sales, sell-through, and profitability, to identify opportunities and risks
  • Monitor inventory levels and propose merchandise replenishment strategies to ensure optimal stock availability while minimizing excess inventory
  • Collaborate with vendor management team to ensure timely delivery of merchandise and resolve any supply chain issues
  • Provide regular visibility to key stakeholders on any risks in product availability or opportunities of growth with cross-functional teams
  • Provide insights and recommendations on pricing strategies, promotional activities, and markdown optimization to maximize sales and profitability
  • Assist in the development and execution of merchandise financial plans, including sales, margin, and inventory targets
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge
  • Support devices team in ad hoc analysis and special projects as needed

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in demand planning, supply chain management, or analytics, preferably in the telecommunications or consumer electronics industry
  • Bachelor’s degree in data Analytics, Engineering, business administration or a related field
  • A Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CSCP, CPIM) is a plus
  • Proven experience in demand forecasting, inventory management, and data analysis
  • Experience with new product launches and managing demand for high-tech devices is highly desirable
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions
  • Proficiency in demand planning software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Passionate about devices and technology
  • Knowledge of the telecommunications industry and device lifecycle management is a plus
