Eames are currently partnered with a leading Corporate & Specialty insurer who are looking to hire a Development Underwriter to join their Retail Property team in London. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a growth-focused role with real visibility and autonomy, playing a key part in driving profitable new business across Captives, Lead, Follow and Multinational accounts.

Job Responsibility

  • Driving profitable new business across Captives, Lead, Follow and Multinational accounts

  • Making a genuine impact on the UK Property strategy
  • Working closely with London Market, Regional, Engineering, Claims and Reinsurance teams to deliver a seamless client experience

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years’ Commercial Property underwriting experience
  • Strong exposure to UK retail or mid-market Property risks
  • A proven track record in new business development & broker relationship management
  • Solid technical underwriting expertise across wordings & rating
  • A commercial mindset balanced with underwriting discipline
