Development Multi Trade Operative

We are currently seeking a Multi-Trade Operatives to assist in delivering an efficient, customer-focused service as part of our Strategic Target of building more than 12,500 homes by 2030. The role will help ensure our homes are built to the highest quality, supporting the new business, sales, programme delivery, and construction teams. With your background in providing excellent customer service to a mixture of resident tenures (such as private homeowners, and renting tenants), you will report to the Senior Multi Trade Operative in Customer Care, completing a wide variety of tasks at multiskilled level. The successful candidate will be experienced, or qualified to NVQ level 2, in carpentry, painting & decorating, masonry or plumbing and will be competent to complete other trade tasks such as plasterboard patch repairs and tape and jointing repairs. We are looking for someone who is committed and adaptable with a natural drive who can demonstrate our values and behaviours. Proven experience of working as part of a trade team delivering to tight timescales to a consistently high quality is needed for this physically demanding position. A full driving license and safe parking for a supplied company vehicle are essential for this role. You will report to your nearest operative depot weekly and will be attending to properties throughout Abri locations across our operating areas, mainly along the M40,M25,M3 and M4. You will be able to quickly build effective working relationships with internal and external customers at all levels and be able to accurately record works, materials and costs as required.
