We're a growing membership organisation supporting people working within the transport and logistics industries. For over 100 years, we've helped members and their families access valuable protection, health, and savings products designed specifically for the sector. We're now looking for a Development Manager to join our team and help us continue growing across London and the South East. No traditional sales background is required-just the right attitude, a willingness to learn, and a passion for working with people.

Job Responsibility

  • Building strong relationships across the transport and logistics sector
  • Meeting existing and prospective members face-to-face throughout West London and the South East
  • Welcoming and onboarding new members
  • Supporting members and helping them maximise the benefits available to them
  • Promoting a range of specialist financial wellbeing and protection products
  • Identifying members' needs and recommending suitable products and services
  • Growing membership and increasing engagement within your region
  • Representing the organisation in a professional, trusted, and consultative manner
  • Managing your own schedule, appointments, and regional activity

Requirements

  • Confident and friendly communicator who enjoys meeting new people
  • Self-motivated, organised, and proactive
  • Comfortable working independently and managing your own workload
  • Professional and trustworthy with a customer-focused approach
  • Happy travelling extensively throughout the working week
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle for the first 6 months

  • Experience within transport, logistics, bus, coach, haulage, fleet, or related industries
  • Backgrounds in sales, customer service, account management, business development, transport operations, logistics, recruitment, hospitality, and other relationship-focused roles
