Job Description:

Digital Business Services (DBS) - Our GCIO organisation plays a critical role for the bank, partnering with businesses to build platforms, systems, and products. This includes keeping people’s money and data safe while driving innovation for businesses, customers, and colleagues. The role involves project delivery, coding, testing, and deploying applications and solutions while ensuring security and efficiency.

Job Responsibility:

Gather and analyze the business and operational requirements
Work with the relevant stakeholders in business, operation, and IT to figure out appropriate solutions
Clearly and concisely track project progress and report to Senior IT manager
Software/application coding, testing, and deployment
Review coding and testing results
Manage the process of coding, testing, and deployment
Application project delivery including infrastructure setup, application deployment, security assessment, implementation planning, and monitoring setup

Requirements:

Excellent understanding of architectural concepts, principles and best practices
Excellent communications skills (written and verbal) in both Mandarin and English
Bachelor’s degree or above
Solid skills in the Business Analysis and Development area
Good banking system knowledge and experience in payment, cash and liquidity management area
Experience of IT project management, familiar with various project management methodology, e.g. SDLC, Agile, etc.
Working experience in a relevant role, i.e. as an IT Development Manager
A successful track record of delivering complex projects and/or programmes, utilizing appropriate techniques and tools to ensure and measure success
Self awareness with confidence to work independently and take responsibility for own development
Excellent written and spoken communication skills
an ability to communicate with impact, ensuring complex information is articulated in a meaningful way to wide and varied audiences
IT experience in financial, core banking or other relevant environments is advantage
Experience with architecture design, systems integration, data, API and reporting etc, preferably having rich data solution design experience
Experience with API and application design such as RESTful API, micro services, Kubernetes etc
Experience with infrastructure and middleware such as network, load balancer, application server, MQ etc
Experience with database technology such as Linux, PostgresQL, Oracle, MongoDB, Redis etc
Experience with cloud especially Alicloud etc
Architecting experience in any of the following areas would be preferred: digitization, core banking, big data, regulatory reporting etc
