Job Responsibility

  • Collaborate with the design, production, purchasing, and quality assurance teams, as well as suppliers, throughout the various stages of the product development process
  • Be involved in cabin research and development activities and participate in the evaluation of materials under development
  • Develop cabinet, mechanism, and system components from concept to final prototype
  • Define and design the configuration of cabin systems
  • Improve prototype concepts through the process of iteration, testing, and design review

Requirements

  • University degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
  • More than 10 years of relevant engineering experience in the field of business aircraft interior finishing and systems
  • Experience in the design and/or integration of mechanical-electrical systems
  • Understanding of the fundamentals of a product's engineering structure as well as certification rules
  • Highly motivated to take on challenges and determined to achieve results, bringing strong technical skills, an understanding of manufacturing processes, and a good problem-solving approach
  • Possess a creative approach that aligns with Bombardier's design and innovation philosophy: highly innovative and functional in order to exceed our customers' expectations
  • Recognized for ingenuity, versatility, and agility
