We are working with a leading international marine technology company operating at the forefront of vessel electrification and sustainable propulsion systems. They are looking to hire a Development Engineer to support the design and development of next-generation electrical and hybrid marine solutions, including electric propulsion systems, serial hybrid drives, and advanced power generation concepts. This is a hands-on R&D engineering role within a multidisciplinary development team working closely with internal departments and international engineering teams to bring innovative marine systems from concept through to validation and implementation.
Job Responsibility
Support the design and development of next-generation electrical and hybrid marine solutions, including electric propulsion systems, serial hybrid drives, and advanced power generation concepts

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automotive Engineering, or similar
Experience within electrical systems development or complex engineered products
Understanding of electrical communication systems (e.g. CAN or similar protocols)
Experience with 2D/3D CAD tools
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and report technical data
Hands-on, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset
Fluent in English (written and spoken)
Experience across one or more stages of product development (concept, design, prototyping, testing, validation)
Ability to conduct feasibility studies and translate requirements into functional/technical designs
Experience working with suppliers or cross-functional teams (procurement, sales, service, etc.)
Knowledge of FMEA and structured design validation methods
Experience supporting test planning and prototype development
Nice to have
Background in automotive, industrial engineering, or heavy engineering environments
Exposure to hybrid or fully electric power systems or complex electromechanical systems
Experience working in international engineering teams
Interest in sustainable or low-emission technologies
Willingness to travel occasionally for supplier visits or field testing
