develop working knowledge of Citi’s information systems, procedures, standards, client server application development, network operations, database administration, systems administration, data center operations, and PC-based applications
appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency

3 to 5 years of commercial software development experience on JVM-based language (Java / Kotlin)
good understanding of lightweight web technologies (REST endpoints, web-sockets, JSON, gRPC), and micro-services in a service-oriented ecosystem
familiarity with modern OO and functional programming practices
familiar with different persistent storage technologies such as RDBMS and NoSQL
experience working with source code management tools – Git or Bitbucket
good understanding of clean coding principles
must demonstrate strong familiarity with design patterns
experience in system analysis and programming of software applications

understanding of Equity Derivatives technology or experience with other asset classes within Markets
knowledge of Equity Derivatives products and product lifecycle
experience working with UI frameworks such as React or Angular
experience working with OpenShift / Kubernetes or other Cloud platforms
experience applying TDD and BDD practices and maintaining clean CI/CD pipelines
