Job Responsibility

  • Develop mechanical components methodically as Development Engineer – Mechanical Design across the full product lifecycle
  • Analyze, derive and manage technical requirements considering standards, Machinery Directive and HSE aspects
  • Create, evaluate and select design concepts based on functional, qualitative and manufacturing-related criteria
  • Design welded structures and sheet metal components with strong focus on manufacturability and industrial standards
  • Develop preferred solutions towards design maturity for prototype build, testing and serial production
  • Support prototype validation, hardware testing and technical assessment of test results
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, specifications, as well as 3D models and drawings using Siemens NX and Teamcenter

Requirements

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in mechanical design or product development
  • Strong competence in engineering methodologies, concept development and structured requirements management
  • Proven experience in the design of welded structures and manufacturing-oriented sheet metal components
  • Solid knowledge of Machinery Directive, relevant standards and safety-driven development
  • Proficient in 3D CAD systems such as NX and familiar with PLM systems like Teamcenter
  • Fluent English skills and ability to work effectively in international, cross-functional engineering teams
