Build the future of offensive security with XBOW. Attackers are already using AI to move faster than defenders can react—we’re creating the platform that puts security ahead in the arms race. Our AI-powered system autonomously discovers, validates, and even exploits vulnerabilities, giving organizations proof-backed results in hours instead of weeks. We’re looking for a Developer & Security Relations Programs Director to design, own, and scale the programs that connect XBOW’s research and technology with the global developer and security community. This role sits at the intersection of Security Research, AI Engineering, Product Marketing, and Content, with a mandate to turn XBOW’s breakthroughs into trusted, credible, and high-impact external engagement.
Job Responsibility:
Own and scale XBOW’s Developer & Security Relations programs across vulnerability disclosure, researcher engagement, and developer community initiatives
Design and manage programs that support responsible disclosure, external researcher collaboration, and coordination with customers and partners
Partner closely with Security Research to operationalize external research engagement, including triage, validation, and communication workflows
Collaborate with AI Engineering and Product teams to surface meaningful technical insights and research outputs for external audiences
Work with Product Marketing and Content teams to translate research and platform capabilities into credible, developer- and researcher-facing narratives
Build and maintain relationships with key members of the security research and developer communities
Develop technical content strategies in partnership with content teams, including blogs, research write-ups, technical explainers, and program documentation
Support and shape XBOW’s presence in vulnerability disclosure ecosystems, bug bounty platforms, and security research communities
Create repeatable programs that drive awareness, trust, and adoption among developers, security practitioners, and researchers
Define success metrics for DevRel and SecRel programs, including engagement, research participation, program throughput, and ecosystem impact
Represent XBOW in technical forums, private briefings, and community conversations as a credible and trusted voice
Requirements:
Strong experience in developer relations, security relations, security research operations, or technical community programs
Public speaking and technical writing experience within the security community
Deep understanding of application security, vulnerability disclosure, or offensive security workflows
Ability to work fluently across highly technical teams, including security researchers and AI engineers
Proven track record building and scaling external-facing technical or community programs
Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical audiences
High degree of operational ownership – you can design process, execute, and iterate
Comfort operating at a fast-growing, AI-native security company
Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills
Nice to have:
Hands-on background in security research, penetration testing, AppSec, or developer tooling
Experience working with vulnerability disclosure programs, bug bounties, or coordinated disclosure at scale
Background in developer advocacy, technical evangelism, or open-source communities
Experience supporting AI-driven or highly technical infrastructure platforms
Familiarity with HackerOne, Bugcrowd, or similar research ecosystems
What we offer:
Competitive salary, clear performance-based incentives, and equity package
Significant opportunities to progress within the sales organization and shape your career trajectory as we scale
Meaningful work directly impacting XBOW’s mission to revolutionize cybersecurity and protect organizations worldwide
