This team’s ethos is to support OpenAI's mission and goals by clearly and authentically explaining our technology, values, and approach to safely building powerful AI. Codex and the OpenAI developer platform underpin how more than 4 million developers build with OpenAI and are shaping the future of development. The way we communicate about these products drives adoption, trust, and long-term relationships with the developer ecosystem. In this role, you'll lead product communications for Codex & the OpenAI developer platform - two of OpenAI’s most technical products to help inform how builders, startups, and the broader developer community build with OpenAI. You’ll define how we introduce new developer tools, models and products through launches, ongoing product storytelling, media, events, and ecosystem moments. You’ll work closely with product, engineering, research, product marketing, developer experience, social and events to translate complex concepts into narratives that resonate across the developer community. This is both a strategy-setting and hands-on execution role. This role is based in San Francisco, CA. We use a hybrid work model of 3 days in the office per week and offer relocation assistance to new employees.
