As a Power Platform Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining Service Stream’s enterprise Power Platform applications within the GBIS team. This full time permanent opportunity (hybrid, with three days in the office) is ideal for experienced developers who thrive in building scalable solutions, supporting complex enterprise environments, and delivering high quality technical outcomes.
Job Responsibility:
Develop and configure solutions using Power Apps (Canvas, Model‑Driven, Power Pages/Portal), Power Automate, SharePoint, Azure Logic Apps, and Dynamics 365
Analyse, design, and deliver enhancements, change requests, and new features in line with GBIS governance frameworks
Diagnose and resolve technical or user‑identified issues to maintain system stability and performance
Document technical requirements and functional specifications to support business process improvements and cost‑effective delivery
Implement workflow automation, process controls, and reusable components across the platform
Design data models within Dataverse/Common Data Service and manage data migration activities
Integrate Power Platform solutions with third‑party systems and Microsoft 365 services
Support structured change and release management cycles, providing deployment documentation and handover to Support teams
Work effectively in a high‑performing Agile environment while collaborating with stakeholders across the business
Requirements:
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, able to work independently with minimal supervision
Proven hands‑on development experience across the Microsoft Power Platform, including Model‑Driven Apps, Canvas Apps, and Portals
Proficiency in JavaScript, Liquid, and Microsoft SQL Server for custom logic, data handling, and component development
Experience integrating systems using Azure Data Factory, Dataflows, and Microsoft 365 services
Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies, version control (e.g., Git), and CI/CD pipelines
Strong communication skills, able to collaborate effectively with technical and non‑technical stakeholders
Solid understanding of Power Platform architecture, data models, and business process alignment
Must be an Australian Citizen
5+ years developer experience, with a focus on Microsoft Power Platform and Dynamics 365
Strong background in platform scripting, web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), and modern development methodologies (Agile/DevOps)
Demonstrated experience analysing, debugging, and resolving complex technical issues
Ability to produce upgrade‑safe, scalable, and maintainable solutions across the platform
