Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Developer with expertise in K2View and Java to join our Business Intelligence team. This role involves implementing logical units using K2View, enhancing existing code, gathering and analysing requirements, and managing stakeholders. The individual will work across development, testing, and production environments, ensuring seamless integration and functionality of applications and interfaces. The role is based in Pune, Bangalore, or Ahmedabad and may require shift work and rare travel.

Job Responsibility:

  • Implement new and modified applications across development, test, preproduction, and production environments
  • Support deployment teams to ensure smooth production implementation
  • Analyse and gather requirements, translating them into low-level designs and technical specifications
  • Perform unit and system testing, including peer reviews of other developers’ implementations
  • Provide second-level support in BI environments and troubleshoot data mismatches post-deployment
  • Deliver root cause analysis and defect fixes across testing and production stages
  • Ensure code quality through checklists, reviews, and testing oversight
  • Estimate effort for development and testing tasks
  • Engage in functional discussions with business users and translate requirements into feasible technical designs

Requirements:

  • 4–8 years of relevant experience in K2View architecture and components such as Smart Data Controller, Web/Database Services, Fabric CQLSH, and Kafka integration
  • Proficient in Cassandra DB, SQL, ETL tools, and understanding of normalised data models
  • Familiar with Agile methodologies and Java
  • Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal), with the ability to proactively address issues and risks
  • Analytical thinker with a problem-solving mindset and team-oriented approach
  • Graduate or postgraduate in technical streams such as Engineering or Computer Science

Nice to have:

Telecom domain knowledge is desirable
