Job Description:

A position based in Pune, India, focusing on the development of enterprise web applications using Java/J2EE technologies in the Financial Risk domain. The role involves coding, testing, and collaboration with various teams, using development best practices and standards. A bachelor’s degree is mandatory.

Job Responsibility:

Development of application in Java in Financial Risk domain
employ standards, frameworks, and patterns while designing and developing components
develop high-quality code employing software engineering and testing best practices
hands-on coding, authoring unit tests/Junit, performance tests, and maintaining code quality
familiar with Agile Development Life Cycle
work with various teams

Requirements:

Around 5-7 years of experience in enterprise Web application development using Java/J2EE technologies
strong knowledge and hands-on experience in JAVA (Version 1.8 or above) / J2EE / Spring boot / restful Web Services
expertise in Serverless, tomcat (Embedded/Non-Embedded), jetty (Embedded/Non-Embedded), WebSphere
expertise in Spring Batch, Spring IOC, Spring Annotation, Spring Security
expertise in mocking, Junit and perf testing of solutions
basic Unix/Linux knowledge to write and understand basic shell scripts and Unix commands
knowledge of Oracle (PL/SQL), NoSQL-Mongo
working knowledge on Docker / Kubernetes / OpenShift / Mesos
experience in Data Preparation Tools
experience with CI/CD build pipelines and toolchain – Git, BitBucket, TeamCity, Artifactory, Jira
familiarity with Agile Development Life Cycle
good communication skills
bachelor’s degree (in science, computers, information technology, or engineering)

Nice to have:

Financial markets background
knowledge of Oracle (PL/SQL), NoSQL-Mongo
working knowledge on Docker / Kubernetes / OpenShift / Mesos
