Job Description

The Developer, Intelligent Automation designs, builds, and maintains automation solutions and low-code applications that improve efficiency, quality, and scalability of business processes. Working primarily with Python (RoboCorp) alongside platforms such as Appian and Microsoft Power Platform, this role collaborates with business stakeholders and analysts to translate requirements into robust, secure, and maintainable solutions across RPA, low-code, and AI-enabled use cases. Depending on experience level, the developer contributes to solution design, implementation, testing, and support, while progressively taking on more ownership of architecture, standards, and mentoring responsibilities.

Job Responsibility

  • Analyze and design scalable business processes for intelligent automation and low-code solutions
  • Build and rigorously test automation workflows primarily using Python
  • Develop clear process documentation and user guides for implemented solutions
  • Execute quality assurance activities and testing for automation deliverables
  • Collaborate with business analysts, unit owners, and cross-functional teams to scope and deliver automation and low-code application projects
  • Engage stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into solid technical designs and implementations
  • Support production environments, including deployments and issue resolution when needed
  • Stay current with relevant technologies in Python automation, low-code platforms, AI, and related fields
  • Contribute ideas and feedback on optimal process and solution designs

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Strong proficiency in Python programming (PCEP/PCAP certification or equivalent experience)
  • Hands-on experience with automation platforms such as Automation Anywhere, UiPath, Blue Prism, Power Automate, or Robocorp (certification preferable)
  • Hands-on experience with low-code development platforms (e.g., Appian, AirTable, Microsoft Power Apps, Oracle APEX, OutSystems, ServiceNow)
  • Experience working with APIs, RESTful services, and integrations
  • Experience with workflow automation and process mapping
  • Working knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases and basic data modeling concepts
  • Solid understanding of workflow and event-driven logic
  • Solid problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities
  • Ability to contribute to technical specifications for automation and low-code projects
  • Experience building and/or integrating with APIs
  • Ability to interpret and use data and analytics to improve solutions and processes
  • Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in parallel
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and team-based delivery
  • Comfortable working in ambiguous situations and moving solutions forward
  • Self-motivated, with a strong sense of ownership and initiative

Nice to have

Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and their application in automation is a plus
