Job Description:

The Developer Concierge role at Citi is focused on creating a positive experience for developers by removing roadblocks that cause frustration and impede the delivery of high quality, secure code. The role involves becoming a trusted service provider, ISA and development tools specialist, as well as a personal champion for developers to positively impact their development experience, enhancing their creativity and job satisfaction. The mission is to help developers navigate, simplify and stabilise Citi tools and processes so they can focus on achieving their goals and developing quality products, making development at Citi a rewarding and satisfying experience.

Job Responsibility:

Champion a set of practical solutions for Information Security
Act as a gatekeeper for remediation requests from IS teams
Ensure accuracy of tracking, timely closure of false positives, pushing back against unnecessary proliferation of CAPs
Make sure that Checkmarx issues and Blackduck issues are appropriately prioritised
Help developers to onboard to lightweight, effective security tooling both pre-commit and in the CI pipeline
Ensure response times and reliability for security systems and data are of an acceptable standard
Smooth infrastructure processes
Take care of Firewall requests
Work with unix and wintel SAs, DBAs and other infrastructure teams to implement individual requests
Establish SLAs with infrastructure teams
Challenge processes that make developers unproductive without compromising security
Make it easier to order servers, and easier to go to cloud
Drive improvements in tooling
Help colleagues in CTI, developer tools and GIDA to improve and automate their own internal processes
Participate in automation of painful manual processes
Monitor the uptime of key services
Help partners in CTI to provide performant tools
Take care of safe, consistent onboarding to Citi approved identity management solutions
Automate: drive consistently for APIs over processes

Requirements:

5-8 years of relevant experience
Experience in systems analysis, software development and development pipeline
Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
