Job Description:

We are hiring a Developer Advocate focused on the data warehousing and analytics ecosystem. This role represents Neo4j in communities built around platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, and modern data infrastructure. You are an engineer by background with deep credibility in this space. You use that credibility to speak, write, and build in public. Your work helps developers understand where graph technology fits in modern analytics stacks, especially in connection with our new graph analytics integrations. You are a visible, technical voice for Neo4j. You spend time with real engineers, at events, in conversations, and through content. You bring ecosystem feedback directly into the product organization. This role requires frequent travel.

Job Responsibility:

  • Represent Neo4j at conferences, meetups, partner events, and industry forums focused on data platforms and analytics
  • Build credibility for graph technology within the Snowflake, Databricks, and broader data warehousing communities
  • Engage directly with engineers building data pipelines, analytics platforms, and data products
  • Create deep technical content including blogs, talks, demos, and code examples
  • Speak regularly at conferences, meetups, webinars, and partner events
  • Show practical integrations between Neo4j, Graph Data Science, and data warehousing platforms
  • Act as a feedback channel between the ecosystem and Neo4j product teams
  • Provide concrete input on Graph Engine and GDS integrations based on real-world usage
  • Help shape product priorities through developer and partner insights
  • Build long-term relationships with engineers, advocates, and partners in the data ecosystem
  • Collaborate with partners such as Snowflake and Databricks on joint content and events
  • Increase Neo4j’s technical visibility and credibility in this domain

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience as a software engineer, data engineer, platform engineer, or similar role OR 3+ years of prior experience as a Developer Advocate within the data warehousing or analytics ecosystem
  • Hands-on experience with platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, Hadoop, or similar technologies
  • Strong understanding of modern data architectures and analytics workflows
  • Proven public speaking experience at conferences, meetups, or industry events
  • Demonstrated ability to create high-quality technical content, written, spoken, or code-based
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex systems clearly
What we offer:
  • medical, dental, and vision benefits
  • 401(k)
  • paid time off
  • certain leaves of absence
  • stock option grant
  • annual bonus (for certain roles)
