Job Description:

The Destination Services Sales Coordinator at The Ritz-Carlton Grand Cayman serves as the main point of contact for Group meeting planners, coordinates and executes all off-property needs, and supports the Destination Services Sales Team. Key responsibilities include preparing sales documents, promoting brand image, using sales techniques to maximize revenue, and maintaining guest loyalty.

Job Responsibility:

  • Main point of contact for Group meeting planners in the Luxury hotel Market, coordination and execution of all of-property needs, host site/planning visits
  • support Destination Services Sales Team (e.g., responding to clients emails, typing, conference calls)
  • prepare sales-related documents throughout the sales process (e.g., proposals, Estimates, Contracts)
  • promote awareness of brand image internally and externally
  • formulate marketing material and information packages (e.g., brochures, promotional materials)
  • use sales techniques that maximize revenue while maintaining existing guest loyalty
  • enter, retrieve, reconcile, and verify information (e.g., commissions, leads, third parties) in software involved in the sales process
  • answer guest questions about on and off-property facilities/services (e.g., hours of operation, maximum and minimum capacities, rates and room types, packages, promotions, entertainment, restaurants, special events)
  • perform general office duties to support Sales & Marketing (e.g., filing, sending emails, typing, faxing, copying)
  • follow all company policies and procedures
  • ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
  • maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
  • protect company assets
  • welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards
  • anticipate and address guests’ service needs
  • thank guests with genuine appreciation
  • develop and maintain positive working relationships with others
  • listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees
  • comply with quality assurance expectations and standards

Requirements:

  • Ability to prioritize, organize work assignments, focus attention on details
  • excellent communication skills, verbal and written, in English
  • strong computer skills, (Microsoft Word, Excel, Delphi, Opera and eDestin)
  • be able to work within a cohesive team and work with minimal supervision
