The Destination Services Sales Coordinator at The Ritz-Carlton Grand Cayman serves as the main point of contact for Group meeting planners, coordinates and executes all off-property needs, and supports the Destination Services Sales Team. Key responsibilities include preparing sales documents, promoting brand image, using sales techniques to maximize revenue, and maintaining guest loyalty.
Job Responsibility:
Main point of contact for Group meeting planners in the Luxury hotel Market, coordination and execution of all of-property needs, host site/planning visits
support Destination Services Sales Team (e.g., responding to clients emails, typing, conference calls)
prepare sales-related documents throughout the sales process (e.g., proposals, Estimates, Contracts)
promote awareness of brand image internally and externally
formulate marketing material and information packages (e.g., brochures, promotional materials)
use sales techniques that maximize revenue while maintaining existing guest loyalty
enter, retrieve, reconcile, and verify information (e.g., commissions, leads, third parties) in software involved in the sales process
answer guest questions about on and off-property facilities/services (e.g., hours of operation, maximum and minimum capacities, rates and room types, packages, promotions, entertainment, restaurants, special events)
perform general office duties to support Sales & Marketing (e.g., filing, sending emails, typing, faxing, copying)
follow all company policies and procedures
ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
protect company assets
welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards
anticipate and address guests’ service needs
thank guests with genuine appreciation
develop and maintain positive working relationships with others
listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees
comply with quality assurance expectations and standards
Requirements:
Ability to prioritize, organize work assignments, focus attention on details
excellent communication skills, verbal and written, in English
strong computer skills, (Microsoft Word, Excel, Delphi, Opera and eDestin)
be able to work within a cohesive team and work with minimal supervision
