Job Description:

As Despatch Operative you’ll be working with fresh and frozen meat products, helping to palletise, wrap store and load products for deliveries. So, you’ll be working in a fast-paced, dynamic FMCG factory environment which is noisy and refrigerated in some areas, manufacturing short shelf life products where hygiene standards are critical.

Job Responsibility:

  • Picking, storing and documenting products
  • Quality checking, wrapping and palletising products
  • Stacking frozen and chilled products
  • Loading and unloading trailers
  • Using hand scanners to log products into the system
  • Picking, checking and rotating products based on the daily plan
  • Manual handling which can include lifting equipment and products up to 20kg

Requirements:

  • Licences/experience with MHE equipment and ability to show competancy
  • Good level of English and basic numeracy skills
  • The ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively
  • Good attention to detail and a flexible attitude to tasks

Nice to have:

Experience within a production/manufacturing environment
