Job Description:

We are looking for a motivated Despatch Operative to join our expanding operations team at our site in Caistor. This is an exciting time to join an already established site as we continue growing by installing new lines and producing new products, which has created new opportunities across different shifts. As a member of the Picking Team, a Despatch Operative receives goods in, stores and organises stock. Then picks, wraps and loads customer orders, ensuring accuracy and quality of the products.

Job Responsibility:

Assisting with goods in, scanning and storing products and raw materials
Wrapping, scanning and palletising products
Issuing products to production teams to match production plans
Manual handling which may include lifting equipment and products up to 20kg
Loading and unloading vehicles using manual handling equipment
Carrying out all duties in line with training, food safety and health and safety guidance

Requirements:

Team work and communication skills
Attention to detail and a flexible attitude to work tasks
Experience with manual handling equipment (Pallet trucks)
Good understanding of English and basic numeracy skills

Nice to have:

FLT experience/licence

Additional £2.00 per hour after 6pm and all hours weekends
