Job Responsibility

  • Answering enquiries from customers and internal staff regarding delivery issues
  • Provide knowledgeable, courteous and helpful customer service to internal and external customers
  • Ensure customer satisfaction in every transaction
  • daily target of # of bookings are achieved
  • Trouble shoot, problem solve and offer the best possible solution to customer queries including complaints
  • Prepare and enter despatch information into the DISTRIB computer system with very high accuracy and in a timely manner
  • Coordinate and manage delivery jobs for drivers and provide administrative support within the process
  • Radaro (Transport Management System) to be maintained daily
  • Use Radaro to prepare and route runs for sub-contractors
  • Report and log customer concerns or requirements to staff in other departments in an appropriate and timely manner to minimise customer dissatisfaction
  • Ensure Time and Attendance is adhered within the company policies
  • Ensure coordination of OHS across whole of work site and implementing safe work practices where necessary
  • Ensure escalated issues are dealt with in a timely manner
  • Assist in managing Delivery teams / Carriers
  • Despatch administration tasks to be completed daily
  • Any task directed by Despatch Supervisor
  • Assist both dispatch and service departments if and when required as directed by the National Despatch Operations Manager

Requirements

  • Previous Despatch experience, preferred but not essential
  • Full working rights in Australia
