The Desktop Support Technician will provide on-site technical support for end users in a Windows operating system environment. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, parts replacement, and managing support tickets to ensure user satisfaction. A minimum of 5 years of experience and A+ certification are required. This role is based in Berea, Kentucky, and requires physical presence at the client site.
Job Responsibility:
Performs troubleshooting, parts replacement, system upgrades, basic deployment, and repair on desktops / notebooks/ printers
Provide onsite technical support for end users through tickets
Own issues through resolution
Update and resolve tickets in a timely manner to achieve Service Levels
May respond to calls after normal business hours
Provide IT support and customer services to ensure user satisfaction
Identify potential issues that could adversely impact end user experience and take corrective action
Requirements:
5+ years of desktop support in a Windows operating system environment with strong hardware skills
A+ desktop or equivalent skill set is required
High School Diploma or equivalent
Steel toed shoes required
Nice to have:
Solid client service skills
Additional certifications for various hardware platforms
