Job Description:

The Desktop Support Technician role involves providing technical assistance to users, resolving hardware and software issues, and ensuring smooth operation of computer systems. Candidates should have experience with Windows 10/11, MS Office, and strong communication skills. This position requires a minimum of 1 year of experience in technical support and the ability to work independently.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide technical assistance to computer users
  • Answer questions or resolve computer/server/network problems for clients in person, or via telephone or electronically
  • May provide assistance concerning the use of computer hardware and software, including printing, installation, word processing, electronic mail, and operating systems
  • Be able to assist and coordinate special projects involving workstation software installs and configurations
  • Be able to analyze, log, track and resolve software/hardware matters pertaining to network connectivity issues, printer, and other software applications
  • Perform troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose common system problems
  • Be able to install, configure, troubleshoot hardware and software for desktop, laptops and other equipment
  • Schedule installations and upgrades and maintain them in accordance with established IT policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 years of experience in a variety of Intel based PCs, laptops and servers
  • network printers, and Androids/Iphones
  • Minimum 1 years of experience with Windows 10/11, MS Office, Citrix, MECM and Ghost
  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust Security Clearance
