Job Description

The Technology department of the town of Natick is seeking a detail-oriented professional to serve as a full-time Desktop Support Specialist. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting Windows, Chromebooks, macOS, iOS, and a variety of other mobile devices in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Associate degree or equivalent in Information Systems or a related field
  • Minimum of three years of related experience maintaining and troubleshooting hardware and software issues in a multi-platform environment preferred
  • Hands-on experience with: Windows operating systems
  • Chrome devices
  • macOS
  • Apple iOS
  • Working knowledge of LAN, WAN, and TCP/IP networking concepts
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering high-quality customer support to data and voice network users
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills are essential

Nice to have

  • Experience with video and computer projection systems is a plus
  • Experience in a municipal environment, particularly supporting Public Safety or Public Schools, is highly desirable
