We are seeking a Desktop Support Specialist with hands-on experience supporting Microsoft environments and managing devices through Microsoft Intune. This role will be responsible for providing technical support to end users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, managing endpoint devices, and ensuring a seamless technology experience across the organization.
Job Responsibility
Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 desktop support for hardware, software, and network-related issues
Deploy, configure, and manage Windows devices using Microsoft Intune
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to laptops, desktops, printers, mobile devices, and peripherals
Enroll and manage devices through Intune and Microsoft Endpoint Manager
Support Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint
Configure and enforce security policies, compliance settings, and device management policies
Perform software installations, upgrades, and patch management
Create and maintain technical documentation, knowledge base articles, and support procedures
Assist with user onboarding, offboarding, and account management
Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff when necessary
Track and resolve support requests through a ticketing system while meeting established SLAs
Requirements
2+ years of experience in Desktop Support, Technical Support, or Help Desk roles
Experience managing devices with Microsoft Intune
Strong knowledge of Windows 10 and Windows 11 operating systems
Experience supporting Microsoft 365 applications and services
Familiarity with Active Directory, Azure Active Directory (Entra ID), and Group Policy
Understanding of device deployment, endpoint security, and patch management
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Excellent customer service and communication abilities
Nice to have
Experience with Microsoft Endpoint Manager (MEM)
Knowledge of Autopilot device deployment
Familiarity with PowerShell scripting
Experience supporting MacOS and mobile devices (iOS/Android)
Exposure to cybersecurity best practices and endpoint protection solutions
Microsoft Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate
Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate
