Role Summary: We are seeking a Desktop Support Engineer to ensure a seamless and efficient computing experience for end users across the organization. The role involves maintaining system security, proactively identifying and resolving technical issues, and addressing hardware and software challenges within scope. The individual will provide timely support through both remote and on-site assistance to minimize business disruption, while also guiding and training users on basic system functionalities for effective technology use. Additionally, the role requires staying updated on emerging hardware and software innovations to continuously enhance support capabilities and service quality.
Job Responsibility:
Installation & configuration of PCs, Loading, reloading & repair of OS, Loading of required software, drivers, utilities
Onsite ERP support and troubleshooting and if required communicate with ERP team for fixing problem
Installation of Antivirus software, repair & maintenance
Backup of Data, user profile, mails in case of reformatting of PC
Asset tracking & labelling
Installation and Configuration of printers also knowledge of basis troubleshooting
Co-ordinate and follow up with vendor for warranty/support services
