Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Desktop Support Analyst to join our team on a contract basis in Cambridge, MA. This role involves providing comprehensive technical support for end-users, including both traditional desktop services and advanced cloud-related tasks within Azure. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Windows environments and demonstrate exceptional customer service skills while addressing a variety of technical challenges.

Job Responsibility:

Deliver onsite technical support to resolve end-user issues efficiently and effectively
Manage and resolve escalated support tickets, ensuring timely solutions
Provide assistance with both traditional desktop support tasks and advanced cloud services within Azure
Perform software installation, uninstallation, and troubleshooting on approved applications
Offer onboarding and offboarding support for employees, including device setup and account management
Maintain and support conference room equipment and audiovisual systems
Troubleshoot and resolve printer-related issues, including network, multifunction, and label printers
Administer and manage Active Directory accounts, ensuring proper access and security
Utilize tools such as Intune, Defender, and other Microsoft technologies to enhance system performance and security.

Requirements:

At least 3 years of experience in desktop support or a related technical role
Proficiency in Windows 10 and 11 operating systems
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Office 365 and Active Directory management
Familiarity with Azure Active Directory and cloud-based services
Knowledge of desktop imaging and hardware troubleshooting
Experience with audiovisual equipment and conference room support
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to provide excellent customer service
Competence in using tools such as Intune, Defender, Duo, and other Microsoft technologies.
