We are looking for a skilled Desktop Support Analyst to join our team in Berkeley, California. This Desktop Support A contract position requiring proactive problem-solving skills and a solid understanding of desktop and mobile support operations. The ideal Desktop Support candidate will possess technical expertise and the ability to provide exceptional service across multiple sites. This Desktop Support Role is a contract position and is onsite in Berkeley. Some travel will be required to various sites around Berkeley.
Job Responsibility:
Deliver desktop support services across various locations, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues
Manage and troubleshoot mobile devices, including administration and configuration
Utilize tools such as Fresh Service and Intune to effectively address service tickets and maintain system functionality
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network problems for end-users
Maintain user accounts and permissions within Active Directory
Monitor and manage cloud-based domains to ensure seamless performance
Provide guidance and technical assistance to users on Microsoft Windows 10 and related software
Document and track service requests using a ticketing system to ensure efficient workflow
Collaborate with team members to implement solutions and improve processes
Ensure all systems are up-to-date and compliant with organizational standards
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Desktop Support role
Proficiency in Azure Active Directory and Microsoft Windows 10
Familiarity with troubleshooting techniques for hardware and software issues
Hands-on experience with tools like Fresh Service, Intune, and cloud-based domains
Knowledge of mobile device administration and support
Strong understanding of service desk ticketing systems
Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindset
Ability to work independently and travel to multiple sites as needed
