Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Desktop Support Analyst to join our team on a contract basis in Concord, California. In this role, you will provide technical assistance to staff, ensuring smooth operation of systems and equipment. This Desktop Support Analyst position requires strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to communicate effectively with users while maintaining an organized approach to ticket management. Desktop Support Analyst position is a 3-month onsite contract position.

Job Responsibility:

Deliver on-site technical support to staff at designated health centers and offices, addressing their IT needs
Diagnose and resolve issues related to Citrix Xen Desktop, thin clients, and other technologies within the health centers
Create system installation images and utilize golden images to deploy workstations and laptops efficiently
Maintain regular updates with users regarding the status of their service requests and document progress in the ticketing system
Provide training and guidance to staff on using equipment, software, shared drives, and the organization's intranet
Lead or assist with IT orientation sessions for new employees to ensure smooth onboarding
Communicate updates, resolutions, and ticket statuses clearly to supervisors and end-users
Work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed to meet organizational demands

Requirements:

A minimum of 3 years of experience in desktop support or help desk roles
Proficiency in Active Directory and Microsoft Windows 10
Strong troubleshooting skills to effectively resolve technical issues
Familiarity with managing and updating service desk tickets
Knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems
Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Flexibility to work outside standard hours when required
Ability to travel to various sites in the Bay Area
