We are looking for a skilled Desktop Support Analyst to join our team in New York, New York. In this long-term contract position, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional IT support to ensure smooth operations for local and remote workstations. This is an onsite role requiring your presence five days a week.
Job Responsibility:
Deliver prompt and efficient IT support to address technical issues and minimize disruption
Manage and respond to incoming support tickets through the Service Desk system
Prioritize and resolve tickets systematically, ensuring urgent matters are handled first
Adjust configurations, utilities, and software settings for both local and remote systems
Maintain clear and detailed documentation of IT processes and resolution methods
Collaborate on special projects to enhance IT services and infrastructure
Requirements:
Proficiency in Active Directory for user and system management
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10 operating system
Previous experience in a desktop support or IT-related role
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues effectively
Excellent communication skills to assist users and convey solutions
Strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks and manage ticket queues
