We are looking for a Desktop Support Analyst to provide hands-on technical support for end users in Greenville, South Carolina within the financial services industry. This is a Contract position focused on maintaining reliable workstation performance, resolving desktop-related issues, and delivering a strong support experience across the business. The ideal candidate will combine practical troubleshooting ability with solid knowledge of Windows environments, hardware support, and user account administration.
Job Responsibility:
Deliver day-to-day support for desktop and workstation issues, ensuring users receive timely and effective technical assistance
Diagnose and resolve problems involving Windows 10 systems, peripheral devices, and standard desktop applications
Set up, configure, and maintain desktop hardware, including computers, monitors, docking stations, and related equipment
Perform desktop imaging and device provisioning to prepare systems for new hires, replacements, and refresh activities
Manage user access and account-related tasks within Active Directory, including routine updates and troubleshooting
Track incidents and service requests, document resolutions, and escalate more complex technical issues when needed
Support workstation deployments, equipment replacements, and other desktop lifecycle activities across the environment
Requirements:
Experience providing technical support for PC desktops and workstation environments
Working knowledge of Active Directory for user account administration and access support
Hands-on ability to troubleshoot and repair desktop hardware issues
Proficiency supporting Microsoft Windows 10 in a business setting
Experience with desktop imaging, device setup, and system configuration
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize multiple support requests
Clear communication skills and a customer-focused approach to end-user support
