Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Desktop Support Analyst to join our team on a contract basis in Charleston, South Carolina. In this role, you will provide technical assistance and support to a diverse group of users, including executives and distribution center employees. This is a dynamic opportunity to work independently, troubleshoot issues, and ensure smooth operations across hardware, software, and network systems.

Job Responsibility:

  • Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, and other hardware to meet end-user requirements
  • Perform system imaging and deploy new devices while ensuring proper setup and functionality
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues remotely and on-site for a team of approximately 400 users
  • Collaborate with C-suite executives and other staff members, adapting to various communication styles and personalities
  • Utilize the ServiceNow ticketing system to manage and document support requests effectively
  • Provide onboarding support for new team members, ensuring a seamless transition into the company
  • Work independently to make informed decisions, demonstrating trustworthiness and initiative
  • Support and maintain Apple devices, backup technologies, and configuration management tools
  • Maintain and update Active Directory and Office 365 environments as needed
  • Assist in managing IT operations for multiple distribution facilities

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in desktop support, including hardware and software troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 and Active Directory environments
  • Hands-on experience with imaging and deploying hardware such as laptops and desktops
  • Ability to use ticketing systems like ServiceNow for tracking and resolving support issues
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with diverse teams, including executives
  • Knowledge of Apple devices, Dell technologies, and backup technologies
  • Capability to work independently and adapt to a fast-paced environment
  • A personable and approachable demeanor to build trust and rapport with end users
