We are looking for a motivated and skilled Desktop Support Analyst to join our team on a contract basis in Westlake, Ohio. In this role, you will provide exceptional technical support and customer service to employees across our global organization. You will play a critical role in ensuring our users have a seamless experience with their IT systems by troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues efficiently.
Job Responsibility:
Provide remote and on-site technical support to end-users, resolving issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity
Utilize remote support tools like Remote Desktop and Bomgar to diagnose and resolve user problems efficiently
Document and track technical support cases in the IT Help Desk system, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution
Configure, image, and deploy Windows PCs to meet organizational needs
Manage user accounts, groups, and computers within Active Directory, ensuring proper access and security
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and other common software applications
Identify opportunities for hardware and software improvements and provide recommendations to enhance system performance
Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware components, including printers and peripheral devices
Work collaboratively with the IT team to support network infrastructure and address basic network troubleshooting needs
Provide clear and user-friendly communication when assisting technical and non-technical users
Requirements:
A minimum of 2 years of experience supporting a Windows-based environment
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve technical issues independently
Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office, web browsers, and antivirus software
Hands-on experience with PC hardware, including installation and maintenance of peripherals such as printers and scanners
Familiarity with Active Directory, including creating and modifying user accounts, groups, and computers
Experience with imaging and deploying Windows PCs in a detail-oriented setting
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong focus on providing outstanding customer service
Ability to work with minimal supervision, demonstrating a proactive and organized approach to tasks
