We are looking for a skilled Desktop Support Analyst to join our team in Detroit, Michigan. In this role, you will provide essential technical support for software applications, hardware systems, and peripheral devices. This is a long-term contract position that requires a proactive individual adept at troubleshooting, maintaining systems, and ensuring end-user satisfaction.
Job Responsibility:
Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to software applications, PCs, laptops, and peripheral devices
Perform regular maintenance and updates on hardware and software systems to ensure optimal performance
Document detailed steps and solutions for resolving user issues in the call tracking system
Install and configure hardware and software for end-users as needed
Manage inventory control and assist in transporting hardware between locations
Stay informed about current trends and advancements in technology to enhance support services
Deliver individual or group training sessions on computer hardware and software usage
Participate in projects aimed at implementing new technologies and improving service delivery
Escalate unresolved technical issues to higher support levels when necessary
Handle additional responsibilities and tasks as assigned
Requirements:
Proficiency in Microsoft Windows 10 operating system
Experience with Active Directory for user account management
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites
Familiarity with hardware and software troubleshooting
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Ability to manage inventory and transport hardware as required
Capability to train users on technical systems and tools
