Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated Desktop Support Analyst to provide exceptional desktop support to our team in Walnut Creek, California. This Desktop Support Contract to permanent position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, assisting with troubleshooting, hardware setup, and system maintenance. Job Responsibility:

Provide Level 1 and Level 2 technical support to resolve hardware and software issues efficiently
Troubleshoot computer systems, swap out malfunctioning devices, and ensure minimal downtime for users
Set up workstations and configure peripherals such as printers and scanners
Perform desktop imaging and ensure consistent deployment of Microsoft Windows 10 across devices
Travel occasionally between locations to provide on-site support as needed
Maintain a detail-oriented and organized workspace, primarily based in Walnut Creek
Collaborate with team members to enhance system functionality and user experience
Document technical support activities and maintain detailed records of resolved issues

Requirements:

Proficiency in Microsoft Windows 10 and related troubleshooting techniques
Hands-on experience with computer and desktop imaging processes
Ability to set up, configure, and manage hardware peripherals
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with team members and users
Willingness to travel occasionally between sites as required
Prior experience in a help desk or desktop support role is preferred
