Job Description

Software Resources has immediate, long term contract job opportunity for Desktop / Security Technician with a major organization in Orlando, FL. This is an onsite / field support position in the Orange County area. (Main hub is located in 32801 and 32839)

Job Responsibility

  • Hands-on technical support experience and excellent customer service skills
  • install cameras, troubleshooting, working with cameras
  • Resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues
  • Document incidents and service requests with clear, concise, and complete information
  • Escalate complex or unresolved issues to appropriate internal teams
  • Maintain excellent communication and service etiquette, ensuring a positive customer experience
  • Collaborate with internal IT staff to identify recurring issues and propose solutions for knowledge base improvements
  • This team is responsible for identity management / access controls / cameras / card readers, 3000 video cameras

Requirements

  • 2+ years technical support experience
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with Windows OS, Microsoft Office Suite, printers, basic networking, and ideally, interest in cyber security
  • Ability and comfortable climbing on ladders to install devices
  • Proven ability to prioritize tasks and resolve issues on first contact
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Customer-focused with a professional and courteous demeanor
  • Familiarity with ITSM platforms (specifically ServiceNow) is a plus
  • A+ or similar certification preferred
  • COMPLETELY CLEAR BACKGROUND CHECK HISTORY & VALID DRIVERS LICENSE REQUIRED
