Lawes has partnered with a leading risk and claims administration organisation who is looking for a dedicated and motivated professional to join their technical liability claims and audit team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic, a commitment to excellence and a passion for delivering exceptional results, with experience and knowledge of technical liability claims.

Job Responsibility:

  • Managing technical requirements for quality reviews and preparing cases for internal assessment
  • Delivering detailed information to both internal stakeholders and external clients
  • Overseeing internal audits, including telephony and file reviews
  • Identifying emerging trends
  • Providing training and technical referrals to the wider team
  • Playing a key role in quality management, reporting, and oversight of disputed proceedings and litigation
  • Advising on complex loss claims
  • Managing a reduced caseload of desktop claims for a high-profile client

Requirements:

  • Thorough knowledge of current case law, common law/statutes, and regulations
  • Insurance qualifications desirable, though relevant experience is equally valued
  • Strong understanding of insurance law and policy wording interpretation
  • Knowledge of contract, statute, and civil liability
  • Excellent investigation skills with meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with corporate clients, SMEs, insurers, and brokers
  • Strong influencing and communication skills with a proactive, team-focused approach
