Desktop Application Developer

• Complies and writes documentation of program development and subsequent revisions
• Consults with IT Quality Assurance department to ensure that program follows establishment standards. Modifies, tests, and corrects existing programs
• Provides direct technical support to internal and external customers and partners via approved communication channels in Victaulic applications
• Analyses and researches software requirements to determine feasibility of design and marketing requirements within time and cost constraints
• Assists in creation and follow processes and procedures to ensure maintainable application development, including source code management, automated build processes and appropriate documentation
• Develops, supports and optimizes database design and replication for both existing and new applications utilizing numerous database applications
• participates in Design and Code reviews to ensure that our design and code meets high standards
• Provides support to customers, vendors, sales and co-workers
• Evaluates and advises manager of latest hardware and software developments
• Delivers presentations and applications usage, tips and tricks, custom features and other topics as assigned

• Associates Degree in Computer Science and Programming
• At least 1 year Experience in software development and an least 1 year in Web/Mobile industry
• Excellent communication, leadership, interpersonal and customer skills required
• Must have the ability to travel domestically and internationally
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical problem solving skills
• Experience working with languages, with the .NET framework, with Visual Studio
• Working knowledge of Autodesk APIs
• Strong understanding of the MVC pattern
• Working knowledge of SQL/NoSQL and database structures
• Experience with end to end and unit testing

Experience with mechanical 3D Piping and design software from drafting to fabrication is a plus
