Job Description:

Our client is seeking an experienced Desk-Side Support Technician to support an enterprise hardware refresh initiative. This role is part of an established end-user support team and focuses primarily on hands-on device replacement, deployment, and user support during refresh cycles. The ideal candidate brings proven desk-side support experience with direct exposure to hardware refresh projects in enterprise environments, as well as applicable gaming and hospitality experience. This is a 6-month contract with a possibility for extension.

Job Responsibility:

  • Execute enterprise hardware refresh activities, including: Laptop and desktop replacements
  • Peripheral swaps (monitors, docks, keyboards, mice)
  • Asset tagging, imaging coordination, and deployment
  • Provide desk-side support during refresh events, ensuring minimal user disruption
  • Troubleshoot basic hardware and OS-level issues during and after device replacement
  • Coordinate device pickup, data migration validation, and old asset return
  • Document work performed and update tickets in the service management system
  • Follow established processes, timelines, and refresh schedules
  • Deliver strong customer service and clear end-user communication throughout the refresh lifecycle

Requirements:

  • Experience working in hospitality, gaming, or large corporate environments
