Previous experience in plumbing and/or fire protection system design or related building system design a plus

Job Responsibility

Support the design and development of complete plumbing systems from project conceptual phase through construction documents for a wide variety of project types
Assist with the scope design and specification of Fire Protection systems, including system selection, zoning, equipment sizing, and other system components
Develop drawings, models, specifications, and construction documents using Revit, Bluebeam, and other design tools
Perform calculations and assist with equipment selection to support efficient, code-compliant plumbing and fire protection system designs
Coordinate with multi-discipline project teams, including mechanical, electrical, structural, and architectural team members, to support coordinated project execution
Assist with construction phase activities, including submittal review support, RFI assistance, meeting participation, and site visits (travel may be required.)
Participate in technical learning opportunities and professional development activities to expand knowledge of plumbing and fire protection systems
