Job Description:

This prestigious international school, operating the IB program, educates over 800 international students, with a diverse student body including 20% Emirati, 20% British, and over 40 other nationalities. Job Responsibility:

Provide strategic leadership and direction in their department
Oversee curriculum development, implementation, and assessment
Collaborate with school leadership to ensure alignment with the school's overall vision
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports student growth and development
Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies to engage students
Build strong relationships with parents, students, and the wider school community
Participate in professional development opportunities

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant subject supported by a Post Graduate Teaching Certificate
Minimum 2 years of experience teaching with experience in the IB program highly desirable
Strong command of the English language
A student-centered teaching approach

Nice to have:

Knowledge of an inquiry-based curriculum
Experience working in an international school setting
