We need teachers who can inspire students to build, create, and solve real-world problems.
Job Responsibility:
Delivering practical and theory DT lessons for KS3 and KS4
Teaching students how to use tools and machinery safely
Planning creative projects that challenge and excite young designers
Managing the workshop environment and maintaining equipment
Assessing student prototypes and providing helpful feedback
Preparing Year 11 students for their GCSE Design & Technology exams
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
A degree in Design & Technology, Engineering, or a related field
Experience teaching the UK Secondary curriculum
Strong knowledge of Health & Safety in a workshop setting
A passion for hands-on, practical learning
An enhanced DBS (or willingness to get one)
