Job Description:

Working closely with the R&D Engineer and other technical team members at the UK and Chinese facilities, you will support current product lines and new development projects. The role involves design, engineering support, and product specification management.

Job Responsibility:

Support product and process development projects through drawing and design work
Create and prototype components using SolidWorks, 3D modelling, and 3D printing
Provide engineering support to the UK manufacturing facility including bespoke jig and fixture design, sourcing, and process engineering
Maintain and administer product specifications within the ERP system including component setup, BOM and route creation
Manage non-conforming product administration, analyse failures, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions or refinements

Requirements:

Degree in Product Design or Mechanical Engineering
Proficient in SolidWorks
2D AutoCAD experience advantageous
Good IT skills including Microsoft Office and analytical/modelling software
Proactive and organised individual with strong communication skills
Solid technical foundation

Nice to have:

2D AutoCAD experience
